The two-time winner and Listed placed MOMENT OF WEAKNESS is a late addition to the Tattersalls July Sale to be held from July 6 – 9. The two-year-old son of BIG BAD BOB out of the NIGHT SHIFT mare KRISTAL’S DREAM was second on his most recent engagement to CLONDINNERY in the Listed Galtee Rochestown Stakes at Cork, with the winner franking that form with an excellent short head and neck third behind FORMOSINA in the Group 2 Railway Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday.
Owned by Johnny Harrington and trained by his wife Jessica, MOMENT OF WEAKNESS is rated 96 by ‘Timeform’ which makes him the highest rated two-year-old in the July Sale and one of the top ten two-year-olds in Ireland, by ‘Timeform’ rating.
Bred by Mrs Cristina Patino’s Windflower Overseas Holdings, MOMENT OF WEAKNESS is from the second crop of BIG BAD BOB, a Group 3 winner raced by Mrs Patino who has made a very promising start to his stud career. In fact 2010 has been a remarkable year for Mrs Patino, with her homebred filly SNOW FAIRY successful in the Group 1 Oaks, and ELUSIVE PIMPERNEL, also a homebred, winning the Group 3 Craven Stakes before finishing fifth in the 2000 Guineas.
MOMENT OF WEAKNESS is catalogued as lot 437A in the July Sale which can be viewed online at www.tattersalls.com. Catalogues are out now and available from Tattersalls and Tattersalls representatives.
