INCHMURRIN euthanased

Inchmurrin (85 f Lomond - On Show by Welsh Pageant), dam of the late sire Inchinor, has been euthanased to prevent any further suffering from the effects of cancer. She was 19.

A group 2 winner who finished second to Magic Of Life in the Coronation Stakes (Group 1), Inchmurrin was renowned for her diminutive frame and tenacious attitude to racing. Finished out of the first four just once in her career and went on to produce seven winners from eight surviving foals which, in addition to Inchinor (Ahonoora), included Incheni who won the Listed Ballymacoll Stud Stakes at Newbury in June.
